Originating from Wolof, Melokaan as a word holds a dual significance that mirrors our approach to communication.  

Referring to things, Melokaan represents the external aspect or appearance of something - its shape, looks and overall image. This meaning aligns with our focus on the visual and aesthetic elements in communication, emphasizing how the outward appearance of a message can impact its reception and effectiveness.  

While referring to people, Melokaan reflects an individual’s attitude or character, their unique way of doing things. It’s about the inner essence that drives a person, their approach to life and work. This aspect of Melokaan resonates deeply with our belief in authentic, character-driven communication.
